How is it performed? And what happens physically to your body?

I really want to keep my baby,but the father has been saying some really unsettling things to me about this baby.Im scared about not being able to provide a healthy happy home that this baby deserves,without his help.I have three other children that were abandoned by their father,and I dont want my baby to suffer the same fate.I am also in college trying to make a better life for the three I have,but I

really dont want this baby to suffer because im being selfish in wanting to keep it.Im so torn!!!It kills me that I have to do this because of monetary reasons.I feel blessed to be pregnant much more.

or if anyone knows a better way that allows me to have my baby!!!

Hi, hon. Please listen to your heart and to your conscience. You know that it would not be right for you to take the life of your child. There is no more important gift you can give your baby than LIFE. This is so much more important than anything material, and I'm sure your born children would not want you to kill their little brother or sister, either. Your baby is depending on you, her mommy, for love and protection. She deserves LIFE. She does not deserve death. What could cause more suffering to her than being torn limb from limb? You would never let someone hurt one of your born children. Please don't let anyone hurt your unborn baby. You are NOT being selfish. You are being protective! That is what good mommies do!

If you're this torn up about it, you must know that having an abortion is wrong.

It's sad that the man who helped create this baby (I won't refer to him as the "father" because there's nothing "fatherly" about asking a woman to have an abortion) wants you to abort. You'll have your baby forever...this loser could be gone next week when someone with a tighter butt or bigger boobs catches his eye.

You could always opt for adopting your baby out. There are plenty of infertile couples who would love to have a baby, but physically can't.

You could also seek some type of state assistance. If you're in college, are you working? If so, I can't imagine you're making much money, especially if you're going to school also. Soon enough you'll have your degree and will be better able to support your family.

For now, I'd lose the boyfriend, have the baby, finish school, and start anew. Things won't be like this for you forever.

Also, and I know this might sound harsh, try to find a better form of birth control so you won't be in this situation again. :(

Damn these pro-lifers, sorry they always seem to have advice whan they have their head so far up their own *** they can't see straight.

Before 9 weeks you can have an abortion with a pill, as the last person said it makes you feel crappy for a few days, but it's a non-invasive approach. After ~9 weeks, up until 13 weeks, you can have a D&C where the whole appointment at the clinic is 3-4 hrs. You are given medication to calm you, and medication to numb your cervix (inside the vagina). A doctor uses a dilator to gently open your cervix (no "cutting and suctioning" as the fool said earlier), then uses a curretage tool (like a spoon) to scrape the uterus clean.

Good luck, and talk to your doc about a prescription for birth control to avoid this happening again.

Pregnancy is a blessing. And being that its only monetary reasons you are thinking of abortiion, maybe you would consider putting the baby up for adoption. You would be able to give a family who's unable to be blessed with this opportunity to have the opportunity to raise a child.

Think about it before you make any rash decisions. But whatever you decide, it is YOUR decision! Not ours...

6-8 weeks is a lil less painfull than if you were a lot farther along, and less expensive. they give you a shot for pain, numb you then suction it out. it last for about 3 min max. physically nothing can go wrong if you take the medicine they give you and stay clean. and just take care of yourself you'll be back to normal in good time. but there's still a 1% chance.

There is the acid method where they put an acidic solution in your uterus and it eats the baby alive, then they pull it out. There is the vacuum method where they suck the baby through a tube and it goes into a "blender" like thing and gets chopped up.

Please don't do it,give it up for adoption if you can not care for it.There is a site on here that shows how they do it & I cried watching it. It is horrible they suction it out but it is done piece by piece,they tear the baby apart.Please just don't do it,I know it is your right to decide what to do but please think of that baby in your belly it is a life.
