Nothing.
Cancerous tumors are simply a lump of cells that have decided to stop doing a normal organ work and reproduce instead, basically, you can think of them as an organ on strike. They are still made of the same stuff all other cells are, but being indifferentiated, would probably not taste like any know organ.
That said, you still could get sick, but that would be a psychological disgust reaction, if one had you eat a tumor and told you afterwards.

Nothing.
Tumors are made up of cells that normally occupy that "germinal layer" they originated from.
An embryo originally looks like a big solid ball of cells. After a while there gets to be a small hollow spot in the middle. After some more time the hollow ball basically suckes in a little dimple, which then becomes a tube. This is the basic structure pretty much more animals have.
An outside (the surface of the ball) = "the Ectoderm"
The middle (Between the surface and the tube) "The Mesoderm"
The inside (the surface inside the tube) "The Endoderm"
All the other cells from your body come from these sets of cells.
Your skin comes from the surface "the Ectoderm"
Your muscles come from "The Mesodrm"
Your guts come from "The Endoderm"
Normally cells have certain functions and a certain life span. This is determined by the DNA housed in the nucleus. Sometimes there is a mistake reading the "recipes" from the nucleus and the cellular machines created don't function propperly.
Normally in this case the cell has a "self destruct button" and will have programmed cell death called "Apoptosis". But very rarely the cell escapes this death phase and becomes immortal.
This is one of the characteristics of cancer cells, is that they are able to reproduce daughter cells continually. Since the daughter cells are clones they also will produce consituatively. This is what causes a tumor. So you see a tumor is a normal tissue, that has simply stopped growing when it should.
Cancer begins to look disordered when you look at it as a tissue (a group of cells that function together for a unified cause). Since the cancer cells keep growing they displace the other cells that provide structure or form. So instead of an orderly addition, like growing an extra arm for example, you just grow a miscelaneous lump.
Although it seems abhorrant to eat a tumor it should not have any health effects (Unless it was a brain tumor from someone with CJS aka mad cow). So provided there is no Prion disease involved... you should be fine.
In fact the processed meats purchased in the grocery store or in fast food have some quantity of tumor meat in them. Since other animals such as cows, pigs, and chickens can all have tumors. There is no health reason to discard this "meat" only textural issues, since they do not have the muscle grain texture. So they are used in "ground or processed" items.
Just like learning there are bugs in Peanut butter or fig newtons huh?

Yuck!!! Why would you want to? That aside I think that seeing how a tumor is an invasive growth (infection) You would probably fall violently ill depending on the size of the tumor. I don't know that you can contract cancer. Cancer is a mutation of cells whether it makes the cells work against each other or if it makes them quit working altogether (depending on what type) I don't think that cancer works like that. Whatever the reason for your question I do not suggest eating a tumor. Not to mention the fact of how would you come by one you could eat. Are you doing surgery in your basement?

you wouldnt get a cancer, because your stomach acids would digest the tumor. The tumors would not be able to penetrate the mucus membrane in your digestive tract. so no, you wouldn't be able to develop cancer simply from eating a cancer. if you had a really really big cut in your mouth, then maybe the cancer cells may be in contact with the blood and be carried to the other parts of your body, which in that case, would be pretty bad.

Then you will eventually get a tumor. If you have ever eaten bologna sandwiches, or hot dogs, or McDonalds burgers, or any of the turkey lunchmeats, commercial sausage, especially breakfast sausage, there are others, then you've probably already eaten at least one tumor - what do you think those little hard things are? So you see its already too late for you you will get a tumor. You are what you eat. That's what you get.

tumor is like a cellular growth and contains nothing but cells(mutated genes). there might be some vessels and tissue but seriously.. if those were cooked well enough u wont get sick. and it is not possible to get cancer by this method, as foreign genes are not taken up into our body as intact genes... they are digested into its constituent molecules. so think of it like eating steak... eating tumor is nothing much of a difference.

I remember when I hate a friends liver with fava beans and found a tumor inside.
It was a little grissley and tough but good eating.
Also may I suggest a nice bottle of Chiante with your tumor.
The two will go down smooth.
happy tumor eating!

It sounds crazy but in chicken there are lots of cancer cells and tumors. It is contained in poorly processed chicken..so eat organic! Read "chicken its for dinner its enough to make you sick" I eat free range chicken that is organic...I use to eat regular chicken.....yuk! (Too many hormones and chemicals added.) that cause cancer. I read labels now.
