"Shortness of breath" is a symptom that can be serious. It can be something as simple as being overweight or not getting enough exercise, but can be a symptom of a more serious disease. Primarily, it will be your heart or lungs or both, as they require each other to keep us alive. Are you short of breath period or just when you are active? On a scale of 1 to 10, how short of breath do you get? Are your lips or nail beds "purple" at times? Hope not.
Do you use your abdomen to breath. Do you smoke or do drugs? How long has this been going on? Do you have a family history of heart or lung disease? Remember...if your short of breath, then there is a good chance you heart is being deprived of adequate oxygen too and that can lead to a heart attack (ischemia). I suggest you go to the ER the next time this develops and make sure they check your O2 Sat's and possibly do arterial Blood gases and pulmonary function test. Better check into this one for sure!

the main logical virus would be flu (with attainable issues), yet you should no longer be asking human beings you do no longer understand who're sat in front of their computers. you should be on the medical doctors or (this being the weekend) on the well being center getting them to analyze you up. i'm consistently surprised that in the time of a rustic the place well being care is largely loose (a minimum of getting a checkup is), why human beings ask human beings they have no thought who and the place they're earlier going to a doctor. stay in a foreign country (as I do) and you'd be able to think of two times approximately getting a doctor out.
