I am not pregnant yet, but hopefully will be in less than a year.
My in-laws are jerks, they will be overbearing when they hear I am pregnant.
My husband and I don’t want them to know I am pregnant until I can’t hide it anymore.
How far along would a woman typically be until her stomach is noticeably pregnant?
I don’t want to tell them until I am 4-5 months, but will my stomach be noticeable by then?
I have an athletic body, I am not overweight and this would be my first pregnancy.

just depends darlin! no one will be able to tell you this until you are pregnant.
i've known women to blow up immediately and others to grow gradually. there's really no system to tell.
i know this isn't what you are looking for, but it's the truth. plus, every pregnancy YOU have will be different. the first one you could not show until 5 months, the second, you may show right off the bat.
i'm sorry about your cruddy in-laws, but a great part of being pregnant is that:
-you can blow up at people and blame hormones:)
-you control the situation. so, no matter what someone else wants you to do, or thinks you should do...bottom line...YOU are now the mommmy and you control the situation!
-for me, i have been enjoying a great sense of peace and calmness, which, hopefully, will happen for you and will help in dealing with those in-laws!
so, when that time comes that you are joining the club, just know that you aren't the first with "interesting" in-laws and you won't be last. also, anytime you want to complain about them or ask pregnancy questions...we're all here, ready to answer back!

I am currently about five months pregnant and you cannot tell I am pregnant, I am not showing yet! Before getting pregnant I had a very athletic body and was not overweight at all. I think this is what has kept my pregnancy so well hidden. Everyone is different, but I bet you would more than likely look like me...you could hide it!

I was very thin and started gaining noticeable weight around the two month mark. Everyone is different. I am trying to hide it too. I am hoping to see my parents one more time before it becomes too obvious. Good luck, I know what you mean about being overbearing. I wish I could go all the way through and only tell after the birth.....

I think that you show as in putting on some weight from about 8-10 weeks, but you wont look pregnant as such till later. there shouldnt be a problem waiting till 4-5 months to tell them

I could hide it in loose clothing until about 3-4 months.

It starts around 4 months but if you wear a big shirt, they won't tell...I would say it begins to be hard to hide at around 5 months

I didn't sart to show 'till my 6th month, but all women are different. The earliest I've heard was 4 months.

i think you start to showing in two mouths and do not worry about your in-laws they can say any thing they wont along they do not touch you and if i will you when i start to show i will go over to there house with my husband and just to say hay and say look i am pregnant and see what they say..................................
