What kinds of unwanted reactions? Hostility or disbelief. What steps would I take to ensure that this didn't happen? Probably re-read my message carefully to make sure it conveys the correct meaning. And I'd spell check it, so as not to annoy those (like me) who are ticked off by some of the spelling and grammar used in asking questions. To get off on my favorite rant, some of the grammar and spelling is so bad it's impossible to figure out what the respondant is trying to say. Your message was cut off, but was clear enough that one can make a reasonable guess at what you were going to say.
And have a good day!!

If i ask serious question i sometimes get the occasional jerk or jerkett that gives absolutely no input and is just going for points, ignore them and sift through the answers for the serious ones. If the answers are truly offensive then report them but remember everyone has an opinion and it really depends on how sensitive you are and what kind of mood you are in. People that waste my time are probably bored or other but only a very few people out there are truly damaging, racist, other.
