Why Can't I Get Gran Turismo 4 To Work On My PS2?

All of my other games work just fine. I just bought GT4 used and it doesn't appear to have anything wrong with it. No scratches, nothing. It doesn't give a cannot read sign, it just won't start. Please HELP??

GT4 has a silver bottom. My PS2 works fine with blue games.

well, i dont have it but if its blue on the bottom, then it might be that the ps2 is messed up and may not be fixable...my friends ps2 did that
