It is not so important what you take in high-school.
when you get to college you will have to make a decision as to whether you want to be a psychologist or a psychiatrist.
there are a lot of differences between the two.
first of all a psychiatrist can prescribe medicine and has to go to medical school: If this is the route you want to go, get a bachelor of science (B.S.) in biology or chemistry, some schools offer a B.S. in Psych. Then take the MCAT ( test to get accepted to Medical school)
graduate and do your rotations and residency in Psychiatry.
A clinical psychologist does counseling
or talks with people to help them with life problems, though there are many other ways to practice psychology.
to become a clinical psychologist Get a B.A. ( Bachelor of arts) in psychology Take the GRE subject test in psychology and get accepted to a graduate school with a clinical psych program.

Either route you choose make sure to get good grades in high school and really go grades in college

In high school taking as much science and math that is available will help reduce the amount of college classes, also any honors, or for college credit classes you can do will really help later. For the most part just take the required classes but you will want to take Chemistry, Physics or other science classes if they are available, geting into a good work habbit will make it easier to get through the endless college courses. My school had a psychology class so if you can take a class like that it will give you some fundamentals. I think if you try to enjoy high school and have some fun classes when you can it will really make high school fun.

You have to go to college. Social Services and Human Services.
Although you can work on Social Studies, English and Spelling while you are in High School. Also I would encourage you to get involved with the Drama group in your school or in your city/town to help you get involved with other aspect of a person's life.
