I am just wondering what I did wrong to make my breasts lose all of their fullness? I nursed my son until he was 10 mos old, which helped me get down to my pre-pregnancy weight real quick. But, it made by breasts shrink and I am actually ashamed of them now. What can I do to prevent this from happening if I decide to breastfeed any more of my children?? My mother breastfed and this did not happen to her, so what did I do???

Nothing sweetie. You're just a different woman. You're not your mother. Mine did the same thing. When my milk came in after my sons were born, my breasts actually grew an entire cup size. They were much fuller, because, quite simply, they were full. It's normal to lose some size when you stop and the milk dries up.

But don't be ashamed of them, honey! Those are battle scars. Part of being a woman. Shoot, mine breasts sag and I now have stretch marks from when they swelled up during each pregnancy. And no, you can't stop your milk from coming in. I didn't breastfeed (flat nipples, neither one would latch on to save my life) and my milk still came in and they still shrank when I let it dry up. It's a normal part of being a parent and absolutely nothing to be ashamed of at all.

the shrinkage of the breast does not occur due to lactating. the breast form is built by the faty tissue. and when a women is going into a diet to reduce its weight the first thing in the oidy that shrinks and loose its fat are the breasts. and this is the explanantion of your problem. unfortunately lots of women fall in this error and do not know the rason of it... however if you are planing to eat fat to increase your breast volume you should know also that the breast are the last part of the body that increase in size!!!
amazing...

I'm jealous! My boobs didn't get bigger when I was pregnant!
The nurse asked me if I was going to breast feed and I looked down at my chest and told her the child would starve!
