Like some guys I've watch prono before and I believe that it's up to the individual to decide if it's sexual liberating for men and women both. But with the rise of internet porn and more extreme movies coming out. I believe that some of the girls are just doing this for the money. Websites like Bangbus.com in which guys pick a random girls and talk them into having sex with a stranger. Afterwards they drop the girls in a random location and drive off luaghing and mocking the woman.( I know this site is staged and the performers are paid) And my brother showed my a site where men have women perform fellatio on them but then the guys just jam it down there throat until the women vomit and/or gag/choke. All while mocking them, and sometimes they make them lick their own vomit. Then you have movies where like ten or twenty guys ejaculate on a woman's face. With all this being said I wonder how can women who perform in these type of movies feel sexually liberated.

Hello Lornett V,

Porn works on a purely sexual level, that doesn't have anything to do with reality. Otherwise plumbers and pizza guys would be getting laid all the time.

It's just like the romantic novels that women read. Guys will never measure up to the romantic guys in those romance novels and likewise, women will never be as hot as they are in those porn movies. These are actors and actresses playing a part, and getting well-paid for it too.

That's not to say that women are never going to meet a very romantic man, and guys aren't going to ever have sex with a hot, sexy woman. It can happen, but it doesn't normally happen. There are guys who hate women and like to see them degraded in their porn movies that you describe. There is also porn where people get tied up and humiliated. They have porn for that.

The liberating porn that you write about are the ones that women like to watch with their man. Those won't be the ones where women are treated badly. Not generally, anyway. They might enjoy a special technique and seeing it performed inside of the porn movie, they are able to discuss this and experiment with this activity. That what makes it liberating.

But, on the other hand, generally, porn is basically made for guys, so there isn't that much porn made for women. It's out there, but you have to look specifically for it. Check out Violet Blue's podcast, "Open Source Sex", or her web site:

Well, there is S&M and other fetish movies where there is some of that kind of stuff too. And, there are some people that go for that kind of thing, and practice it, but it's not the norm. It's more of a specialty type of thing, that some people enjoy.

That's horrific. Ask yourself this: do you believe that a man or a woman watching that and enjoying the perceived victimization of the girl says anything positive about humanity?

I don't believe it does. It says that humanity is sad and sadistic at heart. These little laws we have stop people from turning into the animals they are, and they only sometimes work.

I've watched porn, but what you've described sounds pretty degrading to me. Sexually liberated? and why these women (or girls) do these movies - you'd have to ask them. I saw something on HBO where the top male actor in gay porn movies is totally straight and married - why does he do what he does?
