I'm looking at getting a Treo 700 (either W or P). I would like to be able to view powerpoint presentations (from class) on the device. Is this possible with the Palm software or do I have to get the Windows based version?

should i even consider the Motorola Q?

Looking at the Verizon devices. Does anyone have this phone thru Verizon? Any idea what the monthly service fees are for this?

Thanks!

Both the Treo 700p and 700w will allow you to view powerpoint presentations (or any microsoft office app)

I would recommend getting the Treo 700p - in my opinion the interface is more user friendly than the 700w

and you should definitely check out the Motorola Q - if they were offering this phone with Cingular I would sell my Treo 650 ASAP!

I am considering getting a PDA cellphone myself.

The XV6700 looks good, has a slide out keyboard, and has windows mobile 5 OS.

I do not like the TREO devices because of the stationary keyboard and Palm OS.

The Motorola Q is very bad. It's not even a full featured PDA.

i had a treo 650 and i could view my word documents on my computer once i updated the palm software i installed on it. I'm not sure if it'll work the same way with the 700 but it should.
