Starting your own online business can be great! However, there ARE a lot of scams out there so be very careful when you start out. You can check out http://www.bbb.org/alerts/article.asp?ID=436 they give you the 411 on data entry jobs, envelop stuffing and home assembly work scams.
I tried going to the www.pcworkathome.net site last week and it lead me to a lot of dead ends. They all seemed to be scams in the end that wanted my money.
I did, however, find an international home-based business that works for me. I looked into data entry jobs, but they all wanted you to pay money and most of them involved typing adds. Not what I had in mind. =/ But I really like the business I found. I did the free trial at first so I had time to check it out. I'm glad I did! =) NO cold calling and NO selling soap to friends and family.
You can check out the site at: http://www.automaticbuilder.com/43264/
If this is something you might be interested in I'd be happy to help get you started.
After 3-6 months you can make about $500 a month and after 1 year $1,000 or more a month. And so on. So it's not a get rich quick gimmick, it does take time. But it's steady, long term and residual.
Good Luck!

If you want a real opportunity there are thousands of them out there that are not all scam sales jobs!
Scams are things that take your money with no opportunity for gain on your part, Thats a scam! Or things that promise to pay you a percentage but you never get the check!
I have been in business for over 30 years and in the home based industry for over 16 years and have found it to be very rewarding!
But it is not for everybody! People must have self discipline!
This is not get rich quick,...people have to work to make money!
Ninety percent of the home based opportunity's are in sales.
So if it is sales in general that you don't like, I don't think there is much out there!
I cant give my web addresses here because they will say its spam so here is my email if you want a legitimate home based sales opportunity," not a scam!" Then email me billydtravel@comcast.net if not thats OK!
I wish you and the wife the best of luck in finding what your looking for!

I suggest you to do Data entry job. It will not make you rich but you can make some quick cash at home by simply entering data .It is a simple program that any one can do.You may not make huge dollars in a week but you can make comfortable living from it, only when you work with the legitimate data entry companies.
I would recommend you to check the website below where the top data entry programs have been reviewed by the experts.

Another way to earn is through Surveys. Paid survey do offer a lot of potential, if you work with the legitimate survey company.
Also check the website below where the top survey on net have been reviewed by the experts. All you have to do is sign up with the company of your choice . They will send you survey via email that contain link that will take you to the survey site . They pay you anywhere from $5 - $75 for each survey which takes about 10- 15 min.
Browse through the site to find the right program for you.
Hope this helps

Become a mortgage broker. 24 hour pre-licensing course (2 or 3 days or nights at local community college, make sure it's Kambuck or you'll have a tough time passing). Take exam, get licensed. Hang your license with a good firm, and give yourself some time for a learning curve/extra training (great online courses available), and aim to close 1 to 2 loans a month for a nice income. (paperwork and phone work and internet work, very little out side the home, meet your clients at the office once or twice, with prearranged appointments so you can get a sitter.)

With a computer at home and internet connection, you can start earning from home, without any investment. You should choose your work at home job according to your skills and time available.
If you have a good typing speed, general and legal transcription jobs from companies like Mountain West, Tigerfish and Accutran are available. Some of these companies do not require any experience.
You can apply directly from their websites which are listed at
http://tinyurl.com/o65rb
Medical transcription work at home is also available if you have completed a course and have relevant experience.

I have been working from home with a great company that has been in business for a little over twenty years and have been members in good standing with the BBB ever since they opened their doors. They were also awarded the BBB's Hall of Fame award at the end of 2005. I don't have to host parties, stock, sell or deliver products. I don't even have to worry about collecting any money. I have been both. My first husband and I divorced when my daughter was 2 and I was a single mom and worked. Now I am a stay at home mom and I can tell you that being a single mom and working was by far the hardest thing I have ever done.. for me staying at home is a cake walk..I have 3 a home right now ages 14, 8 and 4 and although at times it is kind of crazy it is by far easier than when I had 1 and worked. I have all the sympathy for working moms and single moms it's not easy as a matter of fact it is damn hard. My hats are off to you..keep up the good work and rest assured it will get easier .
