Find a need in your neighborhood and fill it. Perhaps a store owner is overwhelmed when a delivery truck arrives and he would pay you a few dollars to help him unload it. Perhaps a neighbor needs help feeding a dog or cleaning up after a dog. Perhaps someone would like to get their car cleaned. Perhaps an elderly person needs help getting groceries home from the store. Perhaps a church needs to be cleaned after Sunday services. Find a need, fill it, and cash in.

Ask your parents first, and only if you live in a safe neighbor hood:

Wash cars

Paint people's house numer on their curb
(you need stencils and paint)

Dog sit/ Dog Walk

Offer to run errands to the store for the elderly

Show people how to use the internet/email
(you would be suprized how many people still can't)

Hope that helps. I had a friend who said he made a killing painting the house numbers on curbs one summer when he was 13.

i know of this plot by these boys around your age who profited by helping highway drivers.
First they spotted a highway patrol vehicle hiding behind some bushes, then one stood about half a mile ahead with a sign that said " Warning: Slow down, Highway patrol ahead". The other boy stood half a mile past the vehicle with a bucket and a sign that read "Tips".

Ask you parents first

try asking neighbors if they have any odd jobs around their house that they would like you to do. things like cutting grass, or raking leaves (in the fall). also, you might can try picking up cans and taking them to your local recycling plant. you could also ask your parents if maybe you could do something for them like wash dishes, take out the trash, etc. to earn an allowance. i know it sounds like a lot of work, but us adults have to work pretty hard for our money, too. have a nice day!!

Do odd, errands, like offer people rides to a store, like for peole who don't drive, or have no way of getting around. Charge 25.00, an hr. or fix things for them, cut their lawn, offer things that are hard to find for people in your area.

Get a job with a newspaper, standing on a corner selling papers, or delivering door to door.

What was really popular when I was in intermediate school was selling candy. The most popular was homemade lollipops.

Ask the older people in your neighborhood if you can cut their grass or clean their house for money. You can also burn c.ds (if you know how) for people and charge them for it.

As your parents if you can do more tedious chores that they would pay you for. If you have nice neighbors, as long as its okay with your parents, you could ask them if they need any help as well.
