Hezbollah isn't a displaced Palestinian organization fighting to get its homes back like Hamas is. So why are they so committed?

You definitely won't be getting 10 points if you answer with nonsense, belligerence, or hatred. This is a serious question.

nope hezbollah are not a displaced palestinian organization .its all lebanese .it started after the israel invasion to lebanon in 1982 .& they have started a resistant group against them .hezbollah is the only group who did not join the civil war .
there is lots of things that make hezbollah refuse to let go of his weapon
1-shibaa's farms:its ours ..ours ..ours (some say its syrian ...but nope its ours )
2-kfarshoba hights :israel refused to let go of it
3-israel is still staeling our water
4-israel during the last 6 years been entering lebanon with trucks ..sometimes IDF enters ..
5-there are our precious citizens who are in israel jail
6- mossad ..lebanon is fell with mossad
now you may ask that ..why the weapon is not with the army
you have to know first that we were in a civil war .our army was devided into militias instead ..when civil war finished ..we had to rebuild lebanon ..hezbollah helped in the rebuilding as well .@ the same time our army was being rebuild ..there was an agreement between all the lebanese parties that hezbollah help to solve all the points i mentioned before ...before all this hezbollah was on the round table to disguss with the lebanese many theories of how to defend lebanon ..but the israel invasion occured

Oh they don't have any grievances againt Israel, they just want Israel to not exist anymore.
Ask yourself this: Who is in charge or Hezbollah?
Iran (It's no secret that hezbollah is financed and directed straight from Tehran).
What grievances does the Iranian president have against the Israelis since they don't even share a border with that country?
Well look at the statements he has made recently. Basically he wants Israel Off the map... yeah he says he doesn't care if Israel is in Europe as long as it's not in the middle East.
Sorry, but I believe Israel belongs in the land of Israel which is where they have been for 3300 years, except for the times that the various conquering empires and armies have driven them out.
Asking Israel to move to Europe would be the same thing as asking American Indians to move to France.

Hezbollah is fighting because the land that is Israel was stolen from Arab lands:

The 6 Days War was a war fought shortly after Israel was created. The Arab nations attempted to retake land that was stolen by the western nations. They summarily got their butts handed to them because Israel was backed by the US and friends. In this conflict Israel took more land from the surrounding nations. Thus Hezbollah was formed.

Israel was created out of Palestine after WW II in part because of massive guilt on the part of the western countries for not realizing what Hitler was doing in the Holocaust. Another, less talked about reason, was that most European nations didn't really want the Jews around anyway.

Going back further there has always been animosity between the two cultures (Hebrew and Arab) even into Biblical times (BCE).

Israel has occupied south Lebanon for about 17 years. They withdraw in 2000. Hezbollah are Muslim Shia that live in South Lebanon. They claims that the Israelis are still holding a piece of land called Shebaa' farms. They also want all their prisoners released from the Israeli prisons. Many believe that Hezbollah is acting as an Iran's proxy, to distract world's attention form Iran’s nuclear program, which might actually be true.

They hate Israel. In 1948 Israel got its independence, and the countries in the Middle East never liked it. They never liked the Jewish people. So they want to stop at nothing But destroy Israel and get its land.
Hezbollah hates Israel because they were fighting with the Palestinians. And he sent is troops to help out, they kidnapped a young Israeli Soldier and that really led to a war between them and Israel. But he did not stop there he was also attacking neighboring Israeli cities near the Lebanese Border. With that the Israeli's started Bombing his country. i think Hezbollah's grievances against Israel is that the Bomb s Coming from Israel has killed a lot of Lebanese Civilians. that is why he is mad and he wants to retaliate.

What is hezbollah fighting for? they kidnapped those 2 israelis soldiers, not civilians but soldiers so that israel would release suspected innocent arab detainees who have been in israeli prison for over three decades... i dont show no hatred among jews, but i cannot stand the zionist state for its commitments of violence n willing to gaze up the middle east so that it falls apart n they would control it n expand israel look at the flag it has the nile n the euphrates for wat purpose? u tell me... i kno they've live there for thousands of years but they have a political agenda that all of you must be aware of, so stop being prejudgice all your sources u get it from fox news n cnn who are biased to israel... They are fighting to (as they see it) to rid the region of the Zionist state of Israel. As they are funded and supported by both Syria and Iran you have to look at their political aspirations in the area whether it be military, political or religious power. Hezbollah are simply being used for the realisation of the ambitions of others.

Their primary grievance, for public consumption, is that Israel still occupies part of Lebanon, in the form of the area known as Sheba Farms. This strip of land is on the southeast edge of the Golan Heights.

Their secondary grievance for public consumption is that Israel is holding Lebanese prisoners, some for decades.

Their primary, private grievance is their stated aim that all of Israel is actually Arab land, and that their goal is the destruction of the State of Israel.

Hezbollah is an arm of all the insane, fanatical muslims. They hate everyone who does not believe the way they do. As far as Israel, it is religion and land.

Not sure anyone actualy knows.

Why did the Arabs all Attack Isreal in 1948 after the British left the borders undefined and Isreal declared itself a Jewih State? Again I am not sure there is a hard answer other than HATE. I am also unsure where the hate comes from. It may be religious beliefs, but who realy knows
