Why do men get married if they are still going to cheat?

My mom and dad were married and he made four childern outside the family while still married to mom and by two different woman.

Because they want someone who will cook, clean etc and look after them rather than doing it all by themselves...for a start some people wouldn't even know where or how to even begin looking after themselves and not a lot of people like to be living alone either.

Even cheaters like having their home comforts and having a partner of some sort at home who will warm the bed and look after them, maybe even until something better comes along.

Best asking your dad his opinion why he stayed in the marriage and never left it and if he says its because he loves your mum then he's talking utter rubbish, because people who really love each other would never ever cheat on the other.
I'm sorry you have had to have this difficult situation imposed on you but none of its your fault. The faults within their marriage lie with your mother and father.

there's no answer really to this... men are men.. often they don't think with the head on their shoulders and act on impulse.. it's difficult to take believe me .. you could ask your dad why.. but he'll probably say he doesn't know... or he needed more affection etc.. well men should talk to their wifes if they don't want to cheat.. before doing anything.. it might resolve a lot of unfaithfulness... my dad has always been faithfull to my mom... even though if it was me.. I wouldn't have been (sick all the time, no affection whatsoever, etc etc)... and I consider myself to be a women of virtue.. hope this helps.

The Men who cheat do it because ... they can. If any one of those women in question dumped his *** and kicked him hard enuf (you know where) even once for messing with their lives then am sure he would have stopped. I know it because I am a man. Most men do it only cause they know they can get away by doing it.

It's like a dog. Men like to piss on their territory and mark it. Once that territory is marked it's quote "theirs forever" or "they were there first" un-quote. Men and women look and they always think the grass is greener on the other side, but if we women and men allow a this kind of behavior then it will continue.

Men do this because they are selfish. There is no urge to spread genetics or anything else. It is simply a lack of morals and commitment. You need to be very careful who you marry and settle this core value before you say "I do".
