Is it safe to sweep, vacuum, and mop while your in early pregnancy? Would it be okay for me to clean my shower? What type of cleaning is unsafe during pregnancy, except for cleaning chemicals I already know about that. Thank you for your answers.

If you already know not to mix chemicals, use them in a well ventilated area and your doctor hasn't given you strict orders to stay off your feet, then cleaning is safe as any other activity.
If you are feeling over tired, by all means take a break. But being pregnant doesn't exclude you from doing normal activities unless you have health issues.

If you are using cleaning products, try to make sure it is in a well-ventilated area. Turn the fan on in the bathroom or kitchen while you clean. If the smell bothers you...stop.

As for the physical work of cleaning, unless your doctor has put you on bedrest for some reason, you should be fine to sweep, vacuum and mop, carry laundry, etc. You're not sick or handicapped, you're pregnant. :-)

In the early stages it's fine. As a matter of fact keeping active is encouraged. As you get farther along, listen to your body. If your tired and sore, slow down the pace.

As long as it is not bothering you, it is o.k.. You already know about the chemicals, but also stay away from heaving lifting.

whatever you think you can manage. try not to over exert yourself. when you feel tired, sit down. do a bit at a time. you'll know when you need to stop cause your body will tell you. listen to it carefully. good luck!
