i just seen the same question by different people at least 10 times dont they check the questions before they ask them check out television and thier question about bonnie

Because they don't really CARE what anyone else learns... they want to make their OWN mistakes... or get their own 5 seconds of fame when others have to read the same stupid questions over and over and over.
These are also the same people who complain that some of the people who give answers are so sarcastic and hateful... GEEE... I WONDER WHY?

Not everyone sees the same questions you do. For instance, they may come online at a different time and not be aware that a question had already been asked.
Also, I, for example don't go to categories to answer. I read my quesitons from the Yahoo Answers home page, where I get a huge variety of subjects. I may not see the same question asked for several days.
As far as them taking the time to find answers for themselves, I expect that nearly half of the serioius questions posed in Yahoo Answers could be more reliably and accurately answered with a quick Google search. But people dont. It's just part of the beast.
It's kind of like a school yard softball or football game. You don't expect pro level players. You play with the talent you've got.
Or, an analogy for the adults. If you are playing at the $3 table, don't expect players to use the best strategy. If you expect people to play like the pros, go to the $100 table.

Or maybe they didn't get the answer they were looking for. I sometimes ask people a question, and they say what I already know. At the same time, to find the answer they need, it could take awhile because when you search, a huge list of similar questions pops up. Are you really willing to go through a few pages reading everything ? Takes up way too much time.

It drives me crazy too! The worst was when messenger and myspace were down on the same day, that's all people asked about without even looking at the other questions that were already posted.

Sometimes you get new and different answers, I think it is likely just people not paying attention but who's to say, people might just want to see how other people would answer the same question.

Don't know JenJen, "search for answers" panel, above, is pretty much a waste of time eh! I agree, most people have probably not even noticed it's there lol

people don't know how to use the search bar. also when u type in ur question they have ones that are similar to it that maybe what you are also trying to ask. they are wasting points. 2 bad!
