As a die-hard Titans/Oilers fan I want to say yes, but I feel the answer will be no. I have more faith in Billy Volek, who has at least showed us a little bit of what he has already. I live in the Big 12 Conference area, and got to see several of Vince Young's games over the past couple of years....all he really amounts to is a glorified Brad Smith. He has spots of brilliance followed with spots of complete garbage. All his true hype boils down to that one game....sure it was for the national championship, but can we truly base his future on one game? The Titans could have taken Leinhart, and got their Vince (Brad Smith) in the 3rd round.

Vince Young will be a bust in the NFL. The offense he worked with at Texas was nothing like a pro offense. Defenses in the pro's are 10 times faster than college defenses. Vince will learn that the hard way when he gets pounded when he trys to run it. Then he'll try to throw which he cant do and he will throw picks. Thats why all the great quarterbacks weren't scramblers. If the Titans were smart they would've picked Matt Leinart. Leinart is used to a pro style offense, is a great pocket passer. And guess who the offensive coordinator for the Titans is? Norm Chow the genius offensive coordinator, who was the offensive coordinator for USC the year they won the national championship and Matt Leinart won the Heisman.

The special thing about vince young is that he is a winner
All these people are conserned with his throwing motion and stats and all that crap
in texas he actually focused on his timeing with his WRs and was a pretty accurate passer
But vince young is like the come back kid
many times he single handedly brought Texas back into the game
one time I think he was down like 35 pts r sumthin and he brought them back to win
I think if at sum point poeple stop trying to change him into a traditional QB and let him play his style then he will be very sucsessfull
I doublt that will be this year

The ONLY chance VY has to succeed in the NFL is if he sits out a year or two. He will not be able to run around on the defense like he did in college. Dual threat QBs are nice, but you have to be able to throw the ball. Just look at Mike Vick, he's an average QB(don't deny it Vick lovers).

is hard to predict how Vince Young will do in this rookie season , I think The Titans shouldn't put too much pressure on him they
know that Vince Young is going to have a major problem with the speed of the game he used to the speed of College Football he going to forget that pro football is much faster then college but after he had one season under his belt he will be much confortable after his rookie season to me he's going to be a great NFL Quarterback , every rookie this year is going to have one problem and that the speed differents from college to the Pros

NO, in my view vince young is the next mike vick, (that is not a good thing) he cant throw, he has a funky motion he relies too much on his feet, and worst of all he is not even as fast as mike vick so he is a slower biger vertion of mike who cant throw as far.
