Movies represent the role of STORYTELLING for most part of the world (the 'developed' world anyway); shouldn't all those who are involved in making movies be taking their jobs a LOT more seriously than they are? Their role as 'storyteller' for human society is a big one -- and they shouldn't be financially supported and allowed to influence millions unless they are qualified for their jobs. The same can be said for politicians but that's a whole other story.

I believe we need to hold Hollywood, and our exonerated 'celebrities,' accountable for what they are 'feeding' our collective human mind, being the Storyteller to humanity that they are: By demanding (with our dollar) that they have INTEGRITY going in; and a right mind about their responsibilities for developing our society in a positive and pro-growth manner.

The storytelling that a culture brings its children up in is directly effecting the future world of us all. Is the 'industry' helping to create a positive future, or NOT?

Paris and Lindsay are bad role models for ANYONE. I hate how they are marketed to young girls.

I agree with you to a certain extent. But, as consumers, it is our responsibility to make our own choices about what we buy, and what we allow our children to to buy or see. Movies are for entertainment purposes. They don't represent the real world.

We need to teach our children the difference in what is real and what is fantasy. The movies are far removed from the realities of the real world.

We should never allow the movies or the media the power to influence us or our children. We have minds and we need to use those minds to make our own choices. I believe too many people let the media do the thinking for them these days.

We are the ones who give celebrities all of this power. We are the ones who allow them to overstep their boundaries.

People are the ones who must teach our own children what is real & what is not. It is our responsibility to teach our children their culture. If we don't, where else will they learn, but from the silly made up movies they see on the big screens?

Shouldn't we, as parents be the ones taking our jobs more seriously? Include Grandparents, Aunts, and Uncles, Teachers in that question as well.

If the family doesn't invest the time and effort needed to teach the children their culture, to teach them the way to learn how to love honesty, integrity, goodness... than who is at fault?

People think WAY too much about actors and celebrities. Ignore them, most are just idiots anyway.
