First a BA in architeure will not allow you to work in architecture in most places. Did you know that? You need a BArch (Bachlors of Architecture.) This is a 5 year degree, and an intensive one at that.
Architecture is such a hands on major, I think it would be impossible to do it right distance.

Be sure the school is properly accredited, or else you will have trouble getting a Masters which you will need (with a BA) to get your licence. ((A BArch lets you get your licence.)
