the usa produced several noble souls and they value for free speach. even atheists who don't believe in reincarnation, like to be born in the usa.and most of the asians yearn for green card of the usa. but why irrespective of having all these good qualities, don't raise their voice against the nefarious, imperialistic and hegemonic designs of their government against its foreign policies? it invaded iraq without any valid reason. it gave tacit support to israel which caused for the death of innocent children. it does not speak a word about the military junta of myanmar and pakistan which is encouraging religious terrorists against india. through cia the usa government made 638 futile attempts to assasinate fidel cuba. it met withhumiliating defeat in the hands of vietnam.do you know your government is playing the role of super cop and is imposing its terms and conditions on small countries in the world.criticism of your govt is not tantamount to criticising americans. i love americans.

Many Americans are aware that our government has committed appalling acts of aggression and inhumanity in the years since George Bush stole the Presidency.

Many more Americans become aware of it every day.

The political divisions in this country are deeper and more bitter than ever before. Perhaps we won't succeed in uniting to stop Bush's corruption of American ideals...

...but please remember - many, many of us are trying.

Where are you going with this question? If you are critical, then say so, so that others may respond, but your convoluted rhetoric switches back and forth. By your various adjectives, it would seem critical, but specify....then I can rebutt. However, I shall attempt to put things a bit straighter in my ideas. I am American, white and Buddhist, and grew up in Hong Kong. India is a cesspool of inactivity in civil development, corruption and refuses in the face of national calamity to push birth control. Iraq worked against America and if you have read...we supported Saddam to stabilize his country with three Billion dollars....Israel and Lebanon are much like India and Pakistan....we should simply allow them to kill each other....Myanmar...Oh, so we should do something there which is not our affair but when we entered Iraq it was wrong...after we suffered at their hands...sorry your logic doesn't work. And you are wrong about the CIA and the attempts on Castro's life...yes it did make attempts...but to what advantage? We could not alter the government and at the time, the motive was one of money. Vietnam (I was there for 7 year years) was a mistake carried over from the French....but you criticize only America...but let's go back further and criticize Portugal, and then damn the British in Hong Kong, or let's do good with the Algerian War, or how about the Black Hole of Calcutta, or the Japanese invasion of Manchuria, or the Huns, or Hitler...or....other places....let's not be hasty to point fingers. I do not support the government's logic but when facts are blatantly spewed out without comparasion to others seems a tad unfair. Your bitterness only generates further alienation and continues distrust, dislike and hatred. Why don't you try a different approach and get people to reason together. No nation is perfect and you look only for faults....look for the good.

Ah, check your facts, it was the French that started the problems in Vietnam, America was drawn into it. Castro and the former Soviet leader intended to shoot missiles at the US , so it really is no wonder why they would desire to oust him.

No one thinks the Pakistan government is squeaky clean, trust me. No one wants to be or thinks we are super cops. With the lack of initiative of other superpowers like China and Russia, who else is going to stand up to a nutty dictator in North Korea.

I agree with you, I love Americans too. We may not always agree with the way things are done, and while our system may not be perfect, it is much better than many other countries. In Some places I would not be allowed to have an opinion, it would be decided for me.

very well thought out. thank you for not considering all of us as little bush's.

the thing is, we have to interfere from time to time, or other people's junk will spill over and get on us. it gets harrier from there, but the fact remains that until we have all the information and intelligence given to the leader of the strongest country/military on the earth, it is impossible to presume that we know how to do it better.

You better be glad there was such thing as the U.S. government during the Cold War, otherwise your country would be under the rule of the Soviet Premier.

Ann Frank in her diary stated that she thought that deep down in everyone's soul is a good person. Unfortunately, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Yes...you are right...Americans are good people. However we are not too good at picking good leaders. We need to do better at voting in the primaries...make better choices.

For all your love, you sound full of hate.

If you are a lover, I'd rather be around haters.
