I don't always like to wear toe-nail polish because I feel like if I have polish on, then lotion won't get on my nails. Here in the South, it is practically a capital offense not to paint your toe-nails. I do keep my toe-nails trimmed, filed and clean. Suggestions?

My aunt always had either paint or false nails on her fingernails, and paint on her toenails. Always. Now, her fingernails no longer grow so she has to keep false nails on, and I don't know about her toenails because she always wears close-toed shoes now. This to me says that you should not overdo the nail-painting, despite the fashion dictates of others. You are doing fine with keeping your nails trimmed and healthy. Keep it up!

nail polish is the best thing for my nails. part of My nails get split in half, (hotdog way) and putting nail polish on them stops the splitting and starts healing and grows a 1/2 inch a week.

It's not your nails that need the lotion anyway. It's the cuticles, just make sure you don't paint the cuticles and you'll be fine.
Always trim your nails straight across.

if you dont like polish, just paint them clear everyonce and a while and then everyso often get a pedicure to moisten your feet and nails

Personally, I like having painted toenails except when it is chipping off, then it looks trashy. But, I would say to paint them when you go to parties and special occasions.

well just paint it when you go to parties or special occasions. if not then don't paint it. its better if you don't paint it cuz if you always paint it you nails won't look as pretty cuz air can't get thru

if you dont want to paint them, you dont have to. but you could always if you wanted to paint them either put clear polish on them or paint them with polish that is not dark. do like light pinks or light tans, no red whorey color.

Just paint your nails and get it over with. It does'nt take too long and is'nt much effort.

WHY DO YOU WANT LOTION ON YOUR NAILS ? THEY DON'T TAN . GET A FRENCH PEDICURE OR THE FALSE TOE NAILS .. THEY LOOK GOOD
