I've also noted many liberals on yahoo answers also call gays they don't agree with, F@GGOTS. Is this a trait of a progressive? Rather, a digressive degenerate.

Rice has more brains in her big toe than a few dozen nanny-gov't liberals have in their head.

Girl Watson, why do you rigorously defend the radical, racist leftist agenda and call yourself "mainstream"? Did you vote for your ultra leftist "mainstream" hero, John Kerry?

Liberals are the ultimate racists. To the left, minorities are only worth a hoot if they can get a vote out of them by promising "entitlements" that keep them oppressed and dependent on their "social programs".
If you are black, Hispanic or otherwise and actually succeed, you are the enemy to the liberals. An anomaly that must be eradicated. Even the NAACP doesn't celebrate successful blacks--especially if they're Republicans.
How sad.
When will everyone wake up and realize that the Right are here to offer and hand up (less tax, more incentives, and yes--even some social help-- to provide your family a better life by helping YOU provide it for them) rather than a hand out (resulting in perpetual dependency and a downward spiral of self-loathing)?

condolezza rice does not want to acknowledge that she has benefited from affirmative action and other social programs. She is an extremely bright, gifted woman who has achieved a high status and is "playing" with the good old boys. unfortunately, she has become one of them. I sense a lack of critical thinking regarding race and culture. It is almost as though, in order to fit in, she has had to ignore some "unpleasant truths," about race in this nation. i do not believe discrimination is right on any level and prjudice is like cancer--it needs to be eradicated in order to stop. i don't identify with John Kerry--but i think there is also a problem with classism. I think Racist Liberals and Conservatives are just people who are afraid--they don't want to share the pie, because they want to have more slices. They are individuals w/lo self-esteem who feel that somehow they are "less" if they acknowledge people of diversity with worth and dignity. It is really not related to party-affiliations.

Republicans are basically walking anusses with the ability to talk. Who obviously are never satisfied by the fact the moron snuck into office, so why bring up Kerry now?

The only reason republicans have any minorities in any position is to appeal to a new base, not that they are so open minded they accept them, it is all for the votes.

Bush and his brother Jeb were taped calling the State of Florida Black Caucus A**holes and Ni**ers and that is as racist as it gets. Go spread your cow manure somewhere else. Republicans are the racists.

Rice is a token. Come on, do you think she was the best choice for the job, or that affirmative action may have played a HUGE role?
Bush needed some high level administration that was black, so he could win more black votes, which for whatever reason started to swing more towards the re-pug side (Bush's people knew to play on the high levels of homophobia within the African-American community- thus the whole gay-marriage debate).
Republican's "ethics" and ideals are hardly in line with the interests of black inner-city Americans.

Provide some sources of these 'racist liberals.'

Who has called Rice an "Uncle Tom?'

All I could find was her being compared to Colin Powell who was labeled an "Uncle Tom' by the state -run newspaper in Zimbabwe after she included that nation in a list of nations that the Bush regime deemed "outposts of tyranny.'

That government doesn't appear very liberal.

It is less racism than fear.

Since something like 98% of black registered voters vote for the Democrats, any credible black Republican represents a threat to their hegemony.

If a credible black Republican were to appear, it would represent a potential loss of 25%-45% of their black contituency.

That would translate to 3-6% of the popular vote and kill any chances for future Democratic Presidencies.

Cannier Democrats understand this and cynically promote racism to keep themselves in power.

Republicans do similar things to keep their Bible belt supporters happy.

It's called politics. Whoever wins, wins.

The danger is when the party leaders start to believe their own propaganda, because that undermines bipartisanship and works against the common interest of the nation.

Good point! The evidence obviously points out the fact that Bush is certainly a minority supporter, appointing qualified minorities to key positions! He recently spoke to the NAACP saying that he was concerned that the party of Lincoln seems to have lost favor with black Americans but respected them enough not to patronize them! I think Bush has selected people of morale character, regardless of race, and represents well that the Republican party can indeed represent all who of are morale constitution.

Thanks for pointing out the liberal rhetoric that is based on unfounded opinions from those that fear the movement to return to a morale high ground!

BoyJohn,

Why don't you give us a rundown of all the members of Bush's cabinet, showing us exactly how you came up with the 'almost half-minority' claim?

2006-08-07 13:42:02 · answer #8 · answered by Doc Watson 7 · 0 0

Because they are just as capable of racism as the people with whom they disagree.

The 40 years of talk-talk about diversity was a smokescreen - what was being pushed by the left was socialism.

So, the black woman thing meant a socialist black woman - not any old black woman. The morons forgot to mention that part to the people who were buying their story hook, line, and sinker.
