I have thought about this too!! I always thought that if God wanted us to have makeup on, we would of been born with, if He wanted us to have holes in our ears and bellybuttons for rings, then we would of been born with them, if He wanted us to have designs on our bodies, He would of made us born with tattoos. I do wear makeup and my ears are pierced twice on each side, so they may make me seem like a hypocrite, but I honestly think God doesn't mind as long as we put him first and not get to wrap up in our own self-image. He made us the way he made us for a reason, and I'm pretty sure he knows what he is doing. But also, you have to think about this: God put some man or women on earth already knowing that they were destined to invent makeup or body art. God has a plan for all of us, so if he really didn't want us to have makeup, he wouldn't of gave anyone the knowledge to be able to invent it.

What you said is true, but he also made the minds of man to CREATE it! And not all people "cover up" their faces, I don't, I only use make up to enhance my face a bit more.
And oh btw, just a thought too, do you think God likes it that people go for plastic surgery? That would be a better question don't you think? Cos make up "covers his work", but in the night, they are "uncovered", but plastic surgery is CHANGING the look/his work. Thought of that?
Just a thought. x)

I think That God made us and he loves us the way we are but he does not want us to be vaine. everything in excess is not good and make up is not the execption. Make up should be used the more natural way possible and not overdoing it and yes I think he cares beacuse if he did not love us then he really would not care .

make up was invented hundreds of years ago. its hard to believe its a bad thing if its been around so long. i also think its ok to change ur appearance. if u dont like it u have to do something about it. like weight for example. god wouldnt have given us so many choices if we couldnt change it up every now and then.

For most people, wearing makeup boosts their self-confidence and self-esteem. It makes them feel good about themselves. And I think God definitely wants people to be happy with themselves. So yep!

Umm... I dont think makeup covers up your face, it just enhances what he has already gave you...you see what I mean? ....I think God is more against cosmetic surgery than cosmetics though!

If it's hypoallergenic and not tested on animals, then I don't think he minds.
