That would depend on your definition of "good people." Even good people are inherently evil. The same can be said about "bad people." That they are inherently good. So you need to define your "Good" and "Bad" people.
But To answer your question. For ever good deed done by one person, there will always be a bad thing. Some thing that is how life is kept in balance.
Or another way for you to look at it is Karma. Good begets good. Bad begets bad. There for you could be a good person and do good things and have good things bestowed upon you, but do something bad and you will have bad done to you and bestowed upon you.
I hope that helps.

I think that we just think this is the case......I believe we just hear about it more. I mean, who wants to hear about bad things happening to bad people? Bad things happening to good people makes for a better story (sad to say), and ends up on the front page. So, it may just seem like this is the case, but bad things happen to everyone....not just good people.

It's caused from an inbalance of good an evil in people. People that keep the evil out and let goodness flourish are more suseptible to bad things happening becuase the evil finds another way to harm them.
Also you hear more often about the bad things happening to good people because news spread faster about people that are cared about.
Hope this isn't too philisophical to your liking.

Bad things happen to bad people all the time, it's a way of life. Unfortunately good people are ocassionally hurt in the process and by virtue of their goodness it not only matters more but is more shocking.

I know from the outside looking in, it seems as though that's the case. But it's all in how you handle the situation and how much faith you have. Things may seem terrible at first, but everything happens for a reason and there is usually a rainbow after every storm.

That has to do with why someone decided to come here to this earth's plane. We decide before we get here what we want to experience (though we don't remember doing this) so when we experience we want to know 'Oh why me' when it was a subconscious decision. It's either that or you may be paying back karma from another life.
