I have no idea where 'Isreal' gets its money.
However, 'Israel' has a thriving high-tech economy and provides a number of exports.
They would do even better but their neighbors don't know how to 'play nice' and they need to spend too much money on their military.

Israel is a leader in technology in many areas. They have a lot of science and research going on. They are a country with few if any natural resources and so they have to make things or produce technology to increase their wealth. They also get a lot of money from the USA. Israel is the largest recipient of foreign aid from the USA.

They EARN it, something we should to learn how to do. Look up the story of Felix Zandman, a naturalized American citizen who, as a youngster, hid until he could escape the Nazi Holocaust. His family was killed at the Auschwitz death camp.
He educated himself, came to America with nothing, and started his own company (Vishay Intertechnology) which trades on the New York Stock Exchange. Their factory in Israel's Negev desert makes electical/electronic components. Not bad, huh?

If you live in the US and pay taxes, you are supporting Israel. To the person who said the money Israel gets from the US is not free...Well, yes it is. The majority of it goes to them in loan form that is already agreed will be excused. Which means, free money. Lobby groups such as AIPAC collect millions of dollars from huge corporations for Israel also as well as using it to bribe members of congress to vote their way. If they reject the contributions, which few have, they are continually threatened as are the lives of their families.

Protestant Church offerings.
Most Redpublicans go to church and donate money to the New Jerusalem Funds. This is for the expansion of Israel to it's rightful God Given borders.
The money goes for tanks and French Mirage Aircraft.
Unfortunately they make their own ammunition. Or I would be selling my belted ammo clips to them.

Israel gets its money from all the US tax paying citizens. If you work, You pay federal taxed. Several billions of dollars that could be used to improve the US gets wasted on Israel.
