I had a baby six weeks ago. I did not breast feed at all... so anyone that has at ALL please dont answer it wont help. I am wondering when did you have a period? How long did it take to get back? This is my second child too if that makes a difference, but I have not got it yet.

It is quite possible for your period to be delayed up until about two months following the birth. Some women do not stop bleeding for this long after the birth, much less begin having their cycle again. If more than eight weeks pass, it is a good idea to get a pregnancy test to be sure you haven't got another bun in the oven, as it has been known to happen! Happened to me! :)

I did breastfeed all of mine, but from ladies that I know who did not, anywhere from about 4-8 weeks postpartum seems normal. Talk to your caregiver about your concerns at your checkup and ask about birth control options. (I'm assuming that since you haven't had your 6 wk check up yet, you haven't started any birth control yet.) If you don't see your period by 8 weeks PP, consider taking a test.

After I had my daughter, I did not breastfeed. I bled for about 2 or 3 weeks after. Then I started back with a normal cycle. I wish I could be more help but I would check with your doctor.

I did not breastfeed either of my children due to medication that I take. After my first child I got my period about 8 weeks after having him. With my second child it took almost 10 weeks for me to have a normal period. If you are having concerns please contact your OB/GYN.

I have 2 children and my period arrived like clock work the next month. I have always been very regular. I think it CAN take a couple of months for some women though.

You should get it any time now. Pregnancy really screws up your hormones, but the norm is 4-6 weeks after the baby is born.

It usually takes about 6 weeks, I got mine after my 6 week checkup, have you have yours yet? It could be different with everyone so you can even call up your doc and find out.
