It gets hard coz of the increased blood flow caused by the hormone testosterone when you are sexually excited

Yes gay is homosexual.

A penis gets hard in anticipation of sex. Sometimes when you are younger and when you are going through puberty, it will get hard for no real reason. When you are young sometimes small things like friction from clothes or proximity to girls is enough to stiffen your penis.
