lets put it this way . Did you ever see the movie about dropping an elephant out of a plane during the vietnam war? Well that was a true story so what do you think? they drop humvees and many other really heavy things from planes. I think you just go with the bigger the object the bigger the chute needs to be

I don't think so because the parachute will break and they will smash into the ground like raindrops!

They drop Land Rovers out of planes, so must be some reasonably heavy duty ones about....

maybe as long as there not ultra fat or else they'll probably hit the ground really fast and the parachutte will snap
