I totally understand where your coming as I was in the same situation. Depending on the age of your children you could take them to a parents play group to help make friends with parents of other children. I am guessing most of your friends arent married and dont have children so your life styles have changed and you dont share common interests. By taking them to a play group or signing them up for sports you can meet other people and start to form a friendship...good luck

Get the kids together and go for a walk. Is there a park nearby where mothers go with their children? Go there. Do you go to church - do they have a children's mass? Go and meet other mothers with the same problem. Do your children have friends in the neighborhood? Can you get with their parents to plan an activity or party? There are ways to get out more with your kids if you plan ahead. You can meet other mothers like yourself in your area. Can you drive your husband to work and pick him up so you can get out with or without the kids?

Call an old friend. Just because you're married doesn't mean you can't spend some time wit the people you used to hang with. Give it a try.

Does your husband work everyday of the week? If not tell him how you feel and see if you can't plan to do something when he is not working. Couldn't he watch the kids on the weekend one day to give you a chance to get out? I wish you the best.

Go out and try to find some new friends. Get a babysitter and if you have to take the bus. Where ever you go if there is a lot of people act friendly you'll soon have a lot of friends and you'll met a lot of new people.

Well.... many check with motorbikes (bikes) as Iron horses. I could have a difficult time selecting among a rapid bike and a are living, rapid horse. Cars are too confining.

Check around for support groups. Or even 'red hat society' type things.
