Napoleon: "Do you know who has done this thing?"

He answers himself and blames Snowball for destroying the windmill. This tactic (called scapegoating) further unites the animals against the "common enemy", thus giving Napoleon more power.

I just read the book, but don't know what happened in Chapter 6. But I can tell you that Animal Farm is a story of communism--people overthrowing their leaders, and trying to work it out as equals--it never works because people can't function without a leader!
