If Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson say support our president, then we should listen? I mean, no offense, but they aren't exactly known for their intelligence. Hell, look look who Spears married, and is still together with even after the fact... And of course, we all know how much of a "genius" that Ms. Simpson is. I guess I'll really go Right Wing if Larry the Cable Guy says that Dubya knows how to Git R' Done!

Spears says "Trust our president,"
Eminem says "F*** Bush!"

Which would you believe?

Edit: John Skerry, no one gives a damn about your link. So a couple of people support mass murderers like the Taliban. Well, IMHO, you do too. And don't think that naked protestors and socialists represent all Liberals, and I won't think that Timothy McVeigh, Adolph Hitler, and Ann Coulter represent all Right Wingnuts! Oh yeah, and why would you personally know about a website of nude men, huh?

I trust our President will make the right choice at that time for our nation. There are alot of things that we the public do not know and never will know and can therefore never fully understand the reasoning behind his decisions. It is our job as Americans to stand behind him. I do not however think Britney Spears opinion mean crap.

Britney Spears gives that statement no credibility. I disagree with her. You should always question everything until you are satisfied. Generally speaking I trust this President, but always do my homework. Its just a trust issue with me.

Shouldn't you never listen to anything Britney Spears or anyone else in Hollywood, etc.. has to say EVER about issues that matter. If she want to tell me how to make a career out of mediocre talent....I should listen, because she has done so. But if she is talking about politics, or worldly matters...sorry. She should stick to singing.

Brittany who? I surely ought to say no to that one... kinda humorous tho. yet I heavily doubt she is an Atheist. She's only too stupid. My decision to reject all the religious indoctrination I gained in my teens had no longer something to do with every person except me. My decision changed into in accordance to common sense and private decision, as maximum beliefs are depending. i'm certain many others got here to the alternative to call themselves atheist by ability of the same techniques. Atheists were no longer taught to give up believing... it turned right into a organic progression of a personal adventure. yet i'm forced to ask... How did you opt for your faith? changed into it a rational decision that you made in accordance for your own adventure, or changed into it something that changed into determined for you out of your beginning and also you've been knowledgeable contained in the doctrine of your beliefs? Do you ever question those doctrines? And do you imagine that any one switched over to Christianity because Mel Gibson, Chuck Norris, Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger have also develop into Christians?

Lemmings.

Trust must be earned. And blindly following anyone, regardless of how many mistakes they make, is not loyalty -- it's a recipe for suicide.

As Americans it's our job to question our elected officials, and to ensure that they are doing what we want them to. That's the entire point of a representative government. From the Declaration of Independence:
"
That to secure these Rights [of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness], Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its Foundation on such Principles, and organizing its Powers in such Form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

Prudence indeed, will dictate, that Governments long established, should not be changed for light and transient Causes; and accordingly all Experience hath shewn, that Mankind are more disposed to suffer, while Evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the Forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long Train of Abuses and Usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object, evinces a Design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their Right, it is their Duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future Security.
"

I didn't know Britney even knew that a president existed in her world. I surely wouldn't be taking any advice from her. However, being patriotic would involve trusting your president - and remember, he does not make any decisions alone (Congress, advisers, etc.)

You have got to be kidding. Britney Spears is quite possibly the only person dumber than Dubya.

I don't make a habit of giving tabloid bimbettes any credence.

I voted for him twice, but I do not agree with his every decision. I find that I DO trust his sincerity and his love of this country and his desire to help all Americans, but that doesn't necessarily translate into the correct actions.

His steel tariffs, the prescription drug giveaway, the No Child Left Behind Act, and his nomination of Harriet Meiers were actions that I disagree vehemently with. Not to mention his failure to take action, to lead this country regarding illegal immigration.

No, I'll leave it to the Dems to idolize their pols, like 'Saint' Hillary.

Are you having a blondie attack, or are you just a regular wing nut? Britney Spears does not qualify to give me political advice.
