Conundrum----- basically means a deboggle or a typical stale mate. Its a word not used often, but people know. Typically people stop to think why this word was even used.

It's not a word, but it sounds really intelligent when you say that a film or a book 'works on several levels'. I also like the term 'post modern', but it's probably a bit passe by now, so you could try 'post post modern'. Enjoy!
