Give him time another day or two. Children's appetites vary anyway. I'd only take him to the Dr if he's not eating anything, if he is refusing to drink, and/or if he's listless or lacking energy.
But it's always better to be safe than sorry and you know your child better than anyone on here, so if you think a Dr visit is best then take him in.

I would check with the Dr. just to be sure, but I'm thinking that he and his tummy may still be recovering. The absense of fever doesn't always mean full recovery. Think about when you were last ill, did you feel better immediately after the fever broke, especially if it was stomache related?

from my experience a lot of young kids don't go right back to eating well after being sick, maybe their bodies are just to worn out from fighting the illness. be sure keep fluids with electrolytes for your toddler or baby. my toddlers favorite when she was getting over the flu are Pedialite popsicles. its the only thing she could keep down. Hope this helps.

If he was on antibiotics, you should make sure he doesn't have any rough side effects like thrush or a yeast infection. Also, ear infections can cause a baby not want to open their mouths and suck, because the sucking is painful.

Get some easy foods with not too much chewing - jello, puddings, flavor ice, ice cream, ginger snaps (sucking on these will easy stomach discomfort), marshmallows, etc.

You should check the inside of his mouth for any sores. Also make sure that he stays hydrated. Food will eventually become appealing.

What did he have? If, for instance, it was hand, foot, and mouth disease, his mouth may still be sore, or he may be afraid to open it because he remembers how sore it felt earlier.
