Cindy Sheehan is an American Patriot. Why do people criticize her?

Since when does being an "American Patriot" make you immune from criticism? It sure doesn't stop Libs from criticizing conservative patriots every day of the week. Why is Sheehan an exception? What has she done to deserve special consideration?

Because they have been fooled into believing that it is UNAmeican to question a government. They forgot the history and that this country was founded by those who believed that the country MUST BE BY THE PEOPLE. Instead they want a government to tell them what to think and believe and to follow it blindly. She is a good American speaking her mind. A silent citizenship will always be exploited. Thank you Cindy to being a true Patriot.

Cindy Sheehan is a personal hero of mine. I wish I could join her on her war protests. What she's doing is very brave and courageous and I applaud her for the wonderful work she's doing in trying to get this ugly war in Iraq ended.

She stood up 4 something she believes in & took on GW, she is a patriot coz every1 is now realising GW is a Paranoid freak.

Why is she an American Patriot? That makes no sense to me... I regard American Patriots as people who truly fight for the Personal Liberties of the People of this Great Nation...... whether with a gun or a pen or a microphone..... not someone who spends her time squashing those rights with BS rhetoric that supports the type of behavior that is the exact opposite of what an American Patriot stands for.

Cindy Sheehan is an American idiot. I criticize her because she is exploiting her sons death. Yes, its a tragedy...each death is. But her son joined voluntarily... Bush did not kill her son. She is being prompted by leftist organizations to continue on...and she isn't even smart enough to realize it. She can say whatever she wants...free speech...but then again, so can I.

Because it makes the Republicans embarrassed she is a vivid and vocal reminder that going to Iraq was wrong.They always attack her..not what she is saying.....I hate the fact that the Republicans can give away our rights so easily as in the patriot act .Maybe their aim is to elect more leaders like bush and they want to quell freedom of speech as quickly as possible.Cause as we see this administration is not good at answering questions.

Well, I do not know about the Patriot, but she does have the wright to say what she says....it is too bad though she is bought and paid for by the far extreme left though....I would like to hear honest opinions from someone with a heart, not from someone that is greedy

I happen to agree with the majority of the things she says, ex. bringing the troops home, the death of her son was a tragedy. However, I sometimes think she is just trying to make a quick buck, as she estranged her son, and did not help raise him...
However her principles and the fact that she is out there protesting shows what people need to do.
