a jacket or a wool sweater? (in a cold weather)?

for women, which do you prefer to wear in a cold weather, a jacket or a wool sweater? why?

I prefer jackets, just because I don't like wool sweaters. I usually dress in layers, jacket and loose cotten blend sweater over a long sleeved top.

ummm depends what type of "cold weather" you mean. If it's autumn and it's around +5 (celcius) a wool sweater. If it's winter and there's snow everywhere and it's -35 (celcius) a wool sweater with a jacket on top!!!!

Actually it would depend on what you mean by cold.
I like wool sweaters they just are so cozy. On
rainy like days a jacket is best.
why not both? This way you can wear either
one on days that you'd like to wear it.

It's so cold here too. I don't think you should be out running if there's wind or the temperature is below freezing. I stayed in all day long and kept myself warm. You should run if there isn't any wind and the temperature is at a comfortable level. I wish this cold spell would end soon. I am sick of lows below 30.

a jacket , b/c a wool sweater makes me ich. yuck. i like a jacket cuz you can dress it up or down and still look good.

I would say a jacket because there are tons of styles and you can zip it up.

Actaully, both look great if you wear them in the right way. it depends where you are going and what you are wearing it with.

Either one or both if it is cold enough. But, cardigans are my favorite.
