I've dated someone as young as 7 years younger than me and as old as 13 years older than me. The older you get the less difference it makes..BUT...I still prefer someone (in general) closer to my own age. Within 5 yrs one way or the other works better for me...but to each his own...and that's all that really matters.

I would date someone who is ten years older then me, I don't think I'm all that different from a 34 year old. Five years younger, no, because that would make them 19 and there is too much that a person that age needs to go through before they can be an "adult" and settle down, which is where I'm at.

i leagally cant go out with someone 5 years younger than me. That would be a sixteen year old. Yuck. I would go out with a guy that was ten years older than me as long as he did not have a hairy old man chest.
