Favorite: Well I have more than one, Secret Window, POTC 1/2, and Sleepy Hollow.
Least Favorite: Dead Man (still haven't been able to stay awake long enough to see the end.
I generally like just about everyting Johnny is in. He's such a great actor. You should definitely see Edward Scissorhands. It's one of those great Johnny Depp/Tim Burton movies. I thought it was an excellent movie.

Edward Scissorhands was a beautiful movie, any JD fan should see it. I just watched Sleepy Hollow last night on TNT and it's also directed by Tim Burton, and I realized that Johnny seemed to be making an 'Edward' face at the beginning of the movie when he first arrives in town. Johnny Depp is pretty brilliant in my opinion. Another movie not to be missed is Benny & Joon.

I do own all his movies, but I haven't yet watched "Platoon," "Nightmare on Elm Street," "Before Night Falls," "Lost in La Mancha," or "The Libertine." All the others I've seen.
My least favorite is definitely "Private Resort." It was a chore to get through.
My favorite is hard to determine. "Pirates of the Caribbean" seems like an easy answer, but it is a movie that has it all. "Blow" is very R-rated and disturbing, but it is also an important film for many reasons. It's one of my favorites. I think "Benny & Joon" is one of the greatest romances ever.
"Scissorhands" is not stupid or scary. You should watch it -- it will be worth your time.
The "Ninth Gate" and "Secret Window" have a bit of scary-ness to them. You might like that. He's at his funniest in "Pirates," "Benny & Joon," "Arizona Dream" (though not a great movie), and "Ed Wood."
Thanks for the question! I love talking about my favorite actor. Don't miss ANY of his movies that you have the opportunity to see.

"Edward Scisscor Hands" was a classic movie, gives me goose bumps. The Secret Window was one of my favorites, it was very gory, but Jonny makes up for it with his humorous acting.
The worst has got to be the corpse bride. Still a good movie, it was just very predictable, although I enjoyed watching the stylized clay animation.
Depp is an incredible actor.
