A cucumber sorter for Atkins Pickles. I had to work outside and look at cucumbers on a conveyor belt and sort out some things that were not cucumbers like snakes and rats and once a finger. I stayed at this job for a month after I found a finger that was all I could take.

Whilst working in the Offices at Glaxo's many years ago a clerk sent out the whole stock of baby food whilst the factory staff was on holiday for two weeks. The office staff had to man the conveyor belts to get more baby food in tins to fulfil outstanding orders. My job was to put the little plastic scoops in the top of the tins before the machine banged the lids on - after about 2 hours we were moved on to something else as it was so boring we kept missing the tins.

Ripping the front covers off of magazines, it lasted about five or six hours. I never went back and couldn't even be arsed to pick up the measly £20 I'd earned for the effort!
I was also one those annoying people that stopped you in the street to get you to sign up for a charity - that lasted four days!
For those four days I'd never seen so many people swerve out of the way to avoid me! Ha ha ha ;o)

I was asked to do a hit for the Beasley family in Chicago but I declined. I am now charged with gathering intelligence on the other families. This job is just as dangerous but at least I don't have to hurt people, I just gather information.

Working in Tie Rack. Not exactly strange just death defyingly boring. I had to try to convince people that silk was better than polyester and ask the question 'Would you like a tie rack with that, sir?'.
