Doctors see much worse things than hairy privates so trust me you have nothing to worry about. But if you are stressing it a lot a little personal grooming never hurt anyone.

do you think your Dr hasn't seen pubic hair before? they have their own and so does every patient they see, whether they shave it or not.
you're a mature adult with pubic hair. get over it.
