Noooo. It just means your cold. Its the smooth muscle around the hair follicle that pokes up trying to get warmth.

No it means you are cold, or you have a chill. But when you do get "goose bumps" your hair follicles do get pushed out a little, so it does make it grow, but not enough to notice.

no silly. when you have goose bumps, it means that you are either feeling cold or maybe you are feeling spooked out. it's a body reaction. not your hair growing.

No, actaully it just means you are chilly... However, sometimes goosebumps help you to recognize when you need to shave, because often when goosebumps appear on your skin, the hair on your leg will stand straight up.
