Ive heard it said a couple times that you can waterski or tube being towed by a jet ski. Is this true? Ive never seen that done.

Yes. Legally, you must have a driver, spotter and a seat for the skier/tuber. So you can only legally use the 3 passenger models.

I have a Honda Aquatrax F-12, we pull skiers and one and two man tubes all the time. A 3 man jet ski has more than enough power to pull a full grown adult out of the water at 30-40mph. The power on my jet ski is 137Hp, that is far more than you need to pull a tube or a water skier. Most laws require a drived and a spoter, so the previous person is correct you have to have a large 3-man PWC. But it is fun, and a PWC has more power than you need, or want when you are on the back of the tube.

I've seen this done many times. You will need a pretty powerful jet ski and be sure to check your state laws. Some require special equipment, especially rear view mirrors.

I have never seen it. I would question whether or not a jet ski has enough power to pull someone who is tubing or skiing.

yes it is able to be done. i do it all the time with my dad and my brother.... its a 97 770 that pulls it... as long as it have over 600cc you can get up outa the water.. but you do have to have a spotter and a seat for the skier on the pwc if he wants outa the water
