It depends on what happens at the Post Office duirng the morning run. Sometimes post men can get out on their route early, sometimes they have to wait for packages or something. The later they start the later they get back, it is no fun for them either.

Mail delivery depends on many factors. The volume of mail will differ from day to day. As the volume rises, it takes a great deal of more time to receive and sort and put into the smaller vehicles for rural delivery. Mail travels by plane and train and truck to get to where it is going. Any and all of these vehicles can be slowed down by various factors such as bad weather, construction, accidents. Be patient, the mail will get to you. We are lucky we are not living in the times of the Pony Express, when mail would take months to get across the states. Have a good day!!

Thats easy. Some days (like tuesday here)
all of the ad flyers are sent out. So on that day
consistantly the mail carriers have tons more mail to pass out.

same thing on the 1st and 15th of the month. the government sends out all the financial notices.

Think about fridays, all the companys have sent out the notice that your check has been deposited.
