Listen people, the Yankees have 26 World Series and 39 American League Divisions. How could you say us Yankees suck? WE DO NOT SUCK!!!!!!!! I think you're all jealous that the Yankees have the most World Series and most Divisions, right? The Yankees ROCK!!

I think it is because after awhile people get sick of the same old thing. It gets boring to them
How about you are forced to sit at a table and eat 26 hamburgers and 39 hotdogs. You would get sick of them after awhile.
Or how about 26 hours of watching the same old movie or 39 hours of watching the worst movie ever. Would you want to see that movie ever again?
Make it exciting after awhile. Give another team a chance.
And as for Yankees sucking how about this Yankees where one game away from winning the American League Div in 2004 and choked. They were also one game away from winning the world Series against the Diamondbacks and lost .
If they Yankees don't suck how come they never repeat older games where they stunk

Well im definately not a Yankees fan. But i tend to side with them on this question. People always say the good teams suck.They get tired of them winning all the time so they make up stuff like they suck in denial. BUT on the other hand i can see where somebody might think they suck: Yankees pay all of there players TOP salaries,they go out and get the top players they can.

Simply put.. Yankees continue to win championships, and should win more oftn they do.. They are expected to win the World Series every year.. The throw in the perception that Yankee fans appear to other baseball fans to think they are better than the rest, it sort of makes other fans 'irritated' at the perceived arrogance that comes with winning, If the Yankees finished the season 161-1, Yankee fans would find fault..
Being a hockey fan, and from Detroit, we hear the same thing from NHL fans and recently have been called/compared to the Yankees because our owner also spends what ever it takes (more frugally now with the cap) to get what ever player we want..
It also irritates other fan bases that players want to go to New York and won;t even listen to other teams offers..
When people say the Yankees suck, they are not talking about wins and lossess, they are talking, in part, out of jealousy, in part out of respect for their accomplishments..

The yankess do suck. I mean look at their roster. With the roster that they have they should be winning almost every game they play. But they don't. Any team can go out and buy talent. When a team plays with heart and wins that's an accomplishment. I don't see any heart from the Yankees. They take it for granted. I am not jealous. I am a die hard Cubs fan. I have gotten used to losing. It's kind of funny but the Cubs have probably much more fan support than the Yankees do and we haven't won a world series since 08. That's irony.

Of course it's jealousy. The Yankees win almost every year for decades. People are also jealous of (and hate) people who are powerful, influential or rich like Bill Gates, any US president (especially Bush), execs of GM, Ford, etc.
Believe me, if the Yankees were a losing teams for a few years, it wouldn't be too bad.
Look how loyal Cub or Met fans are, no matter what.

Yes, the Yanks have the $ources to compete every year, and Steinbrenner is evil. I would rather have an "evil" owner than a cheap one.

ok..the yankees do not suck...but.....they arent as good as they should be..i mean they are the richest, most stacked team in baseball.......and they have like a 1/2 game lead over the red sox..who .arent nearly as powerful as the yankees...i mean every player on the yankees is good enuff to hit above .300 every year..and hit 25+ homeruns each year.. ..i mean derek jeter, arod... jonny damon, mariono rivera..so much and thats just this year...i mean back when the bosox won..the yanks were stackd..and they still lost..i mean..they with all their star power..they should WIN the world series EVERY year......not just every now and then...i mean they should be way ahead of the tigers rite now..but they arent..got my point??

Yankee fans are blessed to have the best owner in all of Baseball. He wants to win as bad as the players do and gives the fans the best team he can afford.
The rest of baseball would die for that.
