I think that it's going to be so, hideously bad by Hollywood standards, but it's going to great in the box-offices. I think a lot of people are going to see just to find out how bad it is.
I can tell you, I will definitley be going to it when it comes to theaters.
What about you?
Thanks for your input.

I just answered a different question about how pathetic it is that Ric Flair is still wrestling. It is almost equally pathetic that Samuel L. Jackson is doing this movie.

I will not go see it. It represents all that is wrong with Hollywood: movies being built and created after a 10 second idea over lunch somewhere.

Hollywood leech #1: Time to film another movie, what will we do?
Hollywood leech #2: I don't know, how 'bout "Waitress Is Late"? Two guys wait at a table forever to get their orders in, then go out and have sex with supermodels, get all sad about race relations, criticize Bush and then shoot off machine guns. Eventually, they get their lunch.
Hollywood leech #1: No, can't do that. Ben Affleck's doing that next summer.
Hollywood leech #2: Damn, too bad. That was a really good story: gritty, true to life. Especially the supermodel sex.
Hollywood leech #1: Very true. Hey, what's this, a worm in my soup? This restaurant's horrible.
Hollywood leech #2: (Laughing). A worm in your soup! That's funny ... we should do a movie about that, or ... yunno, like snakes on a plane. Just have tons of snakes on an airplane.
Hollywood leech #1: Wait a minute, I think you have something.

.

And that's the way movies are made. Not from great ideas, great stories, great writing or great scripts - just from two slimes having lunch in a dive, trying to figure out how to make some more money.

I am so there. Snakes on a Plane is already a cult classic and it hasn't even been released yet. There are so many fan sites that it must be good. It is just going to be an incredible movie. It will go down in history with movies like Star Wars and The Matrix. Our great great great grandchildren will watch it in their history classes as an example of film genius. People will put a picture of Samuel L. Jackson in every air port with a caption underneath saying, "Keep these Mothafucking snakes off theses Moothafucking planes." Every teenager in America will have a S.O.A.P. movie poster in their school locker. The president will declare August 18th to be Snakes on a Plane day. No film about killer animals will ever surpass the greatness of Snakes on a Plane!

I totally agree with you. It's not winning any Oscars soon. But it's different, because nowadays, all the movies are about guns and fighting. I mean, snakes on a plane? That's creative right there. I would check it out

I've heard a bit of hype about it from Samuel Jackson on TV. It sounds like a cool plotline for a movie. I'll go.

I am! I want to see if it is actually good. or if it is going to be as bad as it looks!

I think I'll wait for it to come out in the dollar movies though... I don't want to pay $8 to see a movie that is probably going to be REALLY stupid!

I have high hopes that it will be so bad that it will be an instant classic!
I'd really prefer to see it as an in-flight movie, but I'll go to the theaters for my first viewing.

It is a rediculous concept. I may get it on bootleg if anything. But more than likely I'll end up waiting until it's on TV because it may not be worth as much as the bootleg

My and my (soon to be) wife have talked about little else since hearing about it. It's just looks SO GOOD!

Samuel L. Jackson signed up for the role after reading just the title. He had no idea what his part was going to be, he just HAD to be in it.

I can't!! I'm deathly terrified of snakes! I'd probably have a heartattack in the middle of the theater! LOL
