If? Well here is what I am in the middle of doing. I am gathering the information and parts to convert an old CJ7 Jeep into a Diesel. Then I plan on running that Jeep on fryer oil. It is free, and with a 4 cyl Diesel in a light Jeep I'll probably see around 30 mpg. I'll also be running at least 37" tall tires and a stout drivetrain. So that if some hippie in a little car tells me I'm killing the enviroment I'll drive over his pop can car.

$4.00.Thats about £0.66/pint,so in English thats £5.30 a gallon.
we re paying that already
We just buy the stuff.though if it gets much dearer Ill be running my car on heating oil,which is around 39p/litre

Good question. It may not be far away. BP just shut down their Alaskan supply due to deteriorating pipelines. That's 8% of the U.S. supply. Hang on.
