I would like to know an answer from someone who has done it or know a website that documents whats needed.
I am looking to know the specifics...like cutting/welding up the firewall, do I need to switch the rack and pinions, little specifics like that

Sounds like a fun project. I know it's been done before I just can't remember off hand who did it though. One thing you might want to check is your local laws. I friend of mine was doing a RHD conversion and come to find out it was illegal in our state except for gov./mail vehicles.

is it really worth it? Look into the costs of the conversion and realise that you will probably be unable to re-sell it. Could you import one from the UK? I've heard importing cars is tough in the US, but it's worths researching if you intend to spend that money and time on a conversion!
