The problem is that if time ran in reverse, so would our minds, hence we would not notice the difference.

If we could communicate with creatures in a universe where time ran the reverse of the way it runs in ours, we'd both begin to suspect something very strange was going on.

Actually there is nothing called time. It is defined as "the difference between two incidents happening at the same space'. Space is defined as "the difference between two incidents happening at the same time". So time cannot be defined without space and hence if you go to an entity where there is no space, then there is no time, if no time, then there is no going backward or forward.

I like Hari Kumar's answer.

Here's a couple of books about this subject that you might find illuminating:

Time's Arrow by Martin Amis (well written, deep stuff)

Counter-clock World, by Philip K. Dick (a typical entertaining Dick pot boiler...)

The answer is we wouldn't know. In fact, since we're living organisms we seem to flow counter to the 2nd law of thermodynamics, so actually we may the entire picture wrong in our perception. When you're sitting in a car you'd swear the world was flowing by you. But really, it isn't going anywhere. You're the one moving, right?

Aristotle said that time is a measure of motion. Now we use the motion of the Earth to mark time. So stated, your question is theoretically impossible. As long as motion continues, time continues. It cannot run in reverse.
