I think it's disgusting and inappropriate. Wait until you're married, or at least legal.

Fourteen years old is entirely too young to be sexually active. A person of that age is not mature enough to deal with a sexual relationship. Your entire physical and emotional self is still growing and maturing. Having a sexual relationship involves a lot of responsibility, not just the feelings of excitement and being loved. Many younger people spend a great deal of time searching for their place in the world; and fall into a sexual relationship as a way of being accepted and loved. This may be a dangerous combination, when you are not emotionally mature enough to deal with the responsibilities and dangers of having sex. Girls will base a lot of their feeling on emotions, whereas guys just are thinking about the sexual act. This is one of the differences between the females and males of the world. You, as a female; may very well end up being used for sex, be thought of as cheap or easy, become infected with a sexually transmitted disease. This all has to be considered before two people engage in a sexual relationship. You could also end up with HIV/Aids, this is a real possibility. Do you want to be pregnant and have a baby at that age???? No birth control method is 100% foolproof, other than abstinence. There is no other answer to all of this. Please wait until you are older. You are also legally too young to be having sex, and if the guy is older; he will be responcible and be considered to be a rapist. Hopefully, I have given you a lot to consider. Have a good day!!

Fourteen year olds are not emotionally equipped to handle the everything that goes along with being sexually active. Using appropriate birth control (which should include condoms EVERY time, in addition to the pill, gel, etc.). A healthy sexual relationship requires a lot of communication and knowing your partner really well. Well enough to find out about sexual history, STDs, attitude toward abortion or being a teen parent. Not to mention dealing with it when everyone at school finds out (and they will, guys can't help bragging).
Don't even go through that door. It's more trouble than it's worth.

14 is too young to be sexually active. Plus there's the fact that if a girl under 18 goes out with an adult the adult can get charged with statutory rape and put in jail. It's always best to wait until you're over 18, and go on birth control too.

If i was 14, it would be great- but the problem is they are narrow-focused at that point on the sex and don't see any consequesnces.
Hopefully, they have been introducted to proper birth control, and are planning to use it, and know of the risks from pregnancy to STDs.
Its not the best idea to start that young- there is always the risk of kids having kids at that age- I've had classmates with that hapen and not sure where they are today- other than not where they wanted to be!

I think American society is socialized to believe its wrong.
However, in the old days, people had to have children around 14-15 simply because the human life expectency was so low. In a largepart of the world 14 is a normal age for sex because the female body has begun to be capable of fertility and pregnancy and again...the life expectency of the people is so low.
I think people need to recognize the differences between MORALITY JUDGEMENTS and THE LAW.
the law states 18 is the legal age of consent. For that reason, we all expect people to wait till 18. However ASK YOURSELVES,
why would nature allow females to begin fertility/pregnancy at 13,14 or 15 if it wasn't expected for them to have sex and become pregnant?
Its because the human race was designed for it.
The problem is current society isn't prepared for it - young girls can't support a family because society's law has demanded that employers only hire children as young as 16 -18.
If a 14 year old girl can have children, but can't support them because she can't work, then she shouldn't be having children or having sex.
This is where R. Kelly comes in...

I think their parents should be shot. Do you know where I was when I was 14? At home on a Friday night with my GIRL friends having sleepovers.. not thinking about boys and sex.. and do you know why??? Because my mother was responsible, and not so stupid as to think that if you leave a 14 year old girl to her own devices she's going to be responsible.
14 year olds aren't responsible, and can't be left to make decisions for themselves. You can't allow them to be running the roads with their friends.. they're going to get in trouble. At 14.. the responsibility of 14 year old pregnant girls falls on the shoulders of their parents. For either not supervising, not educating or both.

I think it is very bad and nasty. First of all you should wait until you can have sex with your husband. Secondly, hasn't everyone in your life told you NOT to do it yet? It causes all sorts of problems. Focus on your schoolwork and education and when you get grown you can live the sex in the city life if you so choose or be a happily married sexually active NORMAL person. Kids having sex is a nightmare to most sane people. Disease, pregnancy, immorality, abortion, did I mention DISEASE?

I think it's very sad. A 14 yr old is a child & is not ready for a baby, which sex produces more often than not. ALso, having sex can be a death sentence now a days . Fourteen is much much too young to be having sex.

hi!
I dont feel anythng wrong you being that way...
but i should tell ya that at 14 you can have a lot of complications and try not getting pregnant as that can be dangerous for your life. sex is a part of life and you can have it whn ever u want to. 14 is small but ok and you should visit a gyane regularly to get ur vagina checked for any infections as they can happen at an early age

Well... I lost my virginity at 14. If I could go back, I would have laughed in my ex's face and spit on him and broke up with him (cheating b**tard). I would have waited, but its too late now.
Personally, I think having sex at 14 is too young, but I can't judge. I know what its like
