Depends where you live.

I think you have to be at least 10 here.

It depends on how long, how old the kids are, and how late???? If it were a newborn, for, say, overnight..... I would want an 18 year old. If it was for a 5 year old, for an afternoon, a 13 year old would be fine. But I would prefer to know the babysitter pretty well, and, it would help if he/she had completed the Red Cross babysitting course.

There isn't really an age. Its kinda self-judgement (and of course the person your babysitting's parents). It depends on their age and wether you've babysitted someone that age before. I would say 13 is appropriate age to watch children over 4 though. Email me at Cedez92@yahoo.com.

There is no set law but I think it depends on the maturity of the individual babysitter, how many kids you might be watching, what hours and how long you might be babysitting. I babysat when I was 12 for neighbors who had birth to 3 year olds, it was great experience. When I was 14 I babysat a family of 4 kids pretty regularly. They were 1-7 and I really had my hands full but we survived and had fun. You just need to keep them busy, playing games, reading to them, and paying attention to their needs.

depends, i think that if you are baby sitting for someone who is 8 then prob about 14 to 16. If you are babysitting for younger children i would def say 17 and up. It also depends if you are babysitting for family or for a friend.
