Ok i wake up everyday in a house that i feel i dont belong in, i wish i was some where else, i do all i can to get out of this house but nothing works, i finally find a plan to get out but then i realize that would ruin my life so much more. i feel like my life is useless and nothing good will come out of it. I think i finally found my goal in life but theres no way to fulfil it without losing everthing I live for and want so in te end i can never fulfil this goal for myself because it would just make me lose pretty much my life. Is this what my life should be like?? Im only a teenager and im not depressed, im actually a very happy go lucky girl who stuck in the middle of the real world, and her fantasy.

You have it pretty easy if you are a teenager who doesn't have any responsibility. Think about how your parents feel, slaving all day to make enough money to care for you. Everyone has a purpose in life, it could be extravagent or as simple as reproducing to spawn someones life who will make a difference.

I once was told by someone 'When you die, god will show you all the people you could have helped, and what you actually spent your time doing'

In the 2 or 3 minutes you spent typing this question, and time I spent answering it we could have helped at least 1 person who is starving, dying, ill.. It's a bitter world and bitter place, live your life as much as you can. It gets hard, but you don't have it that bad if your only wondering the above and not experiencing some of the things others are.

Geez I think I felt the exact way when I was a teenager which wasn't to long ago i am 25 with two children(8 and 4). You do the math and find out when I had my first child. I felt so like I was living and just wanted more. I had great friends a great boyfriend. I just wasn't satisfied. I would have to say it is just because you are a teenager. I wish girls had it a little easier my daughter is the 8 year old. I guess it is what makes us stong women. Dealing with those hard teenage years. Take it from me. It gets easier. Just study hard so you can get that perfect job and make your life anyway you want it. It is all in your hands.

You know honey I feel for you. I know that being a teenager is rough, but we have all lived through it. Sometimes we just need to talk, we need someone that cares to help us through. I know that sometimes things seem hopeless, but you can change things. First off you need and education. Know one can take that from you, and it can take you a long way. I grew up in a house where I was odd man out. But I had friends and family that I could talk to and I made it through. It was not easy but I did it. The thought of loosing everything is really hard, but I grantee that there are people out there with less. I wish that there was something that I could do to help!!!!!
If you just want someone for a little advise or just wast to vent my email is open to you. I promise that I will not judge you. I am a loving mom and a 'retired' nanny and one of 9 children. I may have some useful advise.

Believe me, it only seems this tough because your a teenager. Let me guess, you dislike your parents/caregivers too?

I was there, from 11 to about 17. I hated my dad, I thought he was just trying to make my life miserable. Then I moved out at 18, and discovered after having kids of my own, they only do the things they do to protect you and teach you.

Now my dad and I are best friends, since I dont live with them anymore.
Things get better.
And 10 years from now, you'll wish you didnt have bills to pay and you didnt have to go to some stinkin job 40 hours or more a week just to pay for these things we all think are luxuries.

My best advice, keep a journal. It helped me a lot. And now when I read them at my age. I laugh histerically.

Well, first of all, being a teenager is so rough. I wouldnt go back to those days for anything. It is normal to feel this way, I think we all have. When you get an education and get moved out of your parents house.....life gets so much better! You become independent and find things that you really like to do. There is life out there, I promise. You just have to hang in there and do everything you need to do to make yourself a strong independent young adult!

You are so normal it is funny. Pick one thing and be the best at it. The world has alot of smart people in it. The world needs more good people in it. Focus on others and not just yourself. Pray to Jesus and ask for direction. It will happen with time.

You are depressed. YOU need to go to a professional as quickly as possible. Talk to you mother or father. Ask them for help. You have so much to live for and to acheive.

This is a depression you are in. You need help to understand why you are there in this depression. maybe you have a chemical imbalance but only a profession doctor can help you.

the only good advice or answer here is go seek help .... ASAP
